The Australian-born flanker Michael Lipman flew in Bridgit taking off from Bath Rec and landing at a football pitch in Corsham. Michel who plays for Bath was selected by England for the 2005/2006 tour of Australia. He has recently been selected to play for England in the Six Nations.

Dr Alice Roberts, television presenter of Time Team, Coast and Don’t Die Young flew with us in Bridgit, taking off from the Recreation ground in Bath. We flew over the city and up over Lansdown towards Yate, eventually landing on Engine Common.

A YouTube clip of various hot air balloons, including Bridgit the Ridgemill balloon, being launched at the wonderful setting of the Royal Crescent in the city of Bath, England, 5th May 2007, as part of the Bath Balloon Fiesta 2007.

Ridgemill donated a balloon ride for two people at the Lord Mayor’s Charity Ball in Bristol, which helped raise over £20,000 for under-privileged children. The auction at the Venetian-themed event was hosted by Noel Edmonds and Carol Vorderman.
